Skin tags are small, fleshy growths that hang off the surface of the skin. They are generally harmless and painless, and they often appear in areas where there is friction between the skin or clothing. Common locations for skin tags include the neck, armpits, and groin. Although they are noncancerous, skin tags can be bothersome to some people due to their appearance or placement.

The most common reasons why our patients request skin tag removal is due to irritation from jewellery or clothing, when they can often become sore and bleed.

If they form on the face, they are unsightly, and interfere with your vision.
